Harmonious World Podcast

The British musician Hilary Robertson has a wonderful podcast, talking to musicians of every genre from all over the world. I was honored to be interviewed by her, talking about the importance of music, and especially lullabies, for healing during stressful times.

Speaking Freely

Dennis Raimondi hosts a radio program on KRUU that covers all topics. In this segment we talk about the fun and interesting stories behind some well known lullabies, and share experiences of music and parenting.

TM Talks

This program, hosted by Mario Orsatti, features people from all walks of life who incorporate meditation into their life and their work. Mario and I talked about how my music is influenced by my role as a teacher of meditation, the connection between meditation and music, and of course some points about the power of the gentle music of lullabies!

Quotes

"Jane's music is lighter, quieter, and more thoughtful than you expect in a jazz performance. It is less urban and more out-of-doors in the early morning light, meditative and reflective."

"Auditory Ambien! . . . sure to relax kids of all ages as well as grown-ups!"

" . . . not just soothing for the kiddies, but a fireplace essential for the Cabernet crowd."

"While many lullaby CD's speak down to kids, Jane Roman Pitt's Midnight Lullaby raises them up. This album is magic from start to finish."

"I was delighted that we had more than eight hundred people in attendance to hear your fabulous cantata. . . with your terrific talent, I look forward to hearing about whatever projects we can consider in the future."

"The music and the lyrics were stirring and meaningful to all the singers and musicians, as well as our audience."

"I was captivated by the haunting themes and energized rhythms. The choral energy seems to burst off the printed page. Thank you for permitting me and the Eastern Michigan Chamber Choir the privilege of premiering this gorgeous work."
